Foreword

In the frame of the Italian Space Agency program called CAB (Controllo Ambientale Biorigenerativo), the first important event and milestone is this Workshop on Bioregenerative Life Support. The workshop objectives are to determine state of art and trends in Bioregenerative Life Support around the world, and to help in shaping the Italian program itself.
The workshop participation is restricted to invited speakers and attendees. There is no fee.
Within CAB, Alcatel Alenia Space – Italia (AAS – I) is the Prime Contractor towards ASI. Partners for the first phase of the project are the University of Napoli Federico II and the University of Torino.

Language
The official language of the Workshop is English. No translation is planned.
