PROTEOMIC SCHOOL
Torino, Villa Gualino-Bioindustry
Park Colleretto Giacosa (TO)
The school will provide theoretical and practical basis on techniques
for protein
separations, analysis and identification.
PROTEOMICS
April 11-14 2005
Beginning: 11 April 9.00 am / Conclusion:
14 April 6.00 pm
Four-days course on the principles of protein separation and fractionation,
mass spectrometry and bioinformatics for proteomics. The goal of
the school is to teach fundamental principles and novel techniques
in order to let the non-expert gain relevant knowledge and expertees.
Moreover, participants will be able to interpret the results of
mass spectrometry analysis.Applicative examples of proteome studies
on microrganisms, vegetal and animal cells, and biological fluids
will be carried out.More advanced users will gain additional insight
into experimental planning and analytical issues as well as in available
techniques.
