AQUAPORINS
BIOPHYSICAL AND MOLECULAR MECHANISMS FOR WATER TRANSPORT

international course

Villa Gualino, Turin, Italy
February 28 - March 1, 2005

This international Course will provide an overview of recent findings and emerging ideas on the molecular and physiological mechanisms of water transport in plants.
In addition, technological advances for the research in the field of water transport, both at the biophysical and molecular levels, will be described and demonstrated. The Course is targeted to PhD students and young researchers, who are entering this field of research, and to scientists interested in widening their understanding of plant water metabolism.
